Third Trimester Pregnancy— Getting Ready to Welcome your Baby!

At last, you have reached the third trimester pregnancy stage! Good! This is the time for preparing to welcome your baby. You should get busy increasing your knowledge about childbirth and nursing so that things get easier for you as your pregnancy progresses. And do not forget to take your partner along with you

Your Baby at This Stage

Don’t worry about the fetal growth of your baby during the
third trimester . The fetus growth is over. Your baby is fully-grown. He is glowing in pink and has become chubby. He is simply waiting for the due date to arrive!

Your Body at This Stage

As far as your body is concerned; it’s going to experience a whole lot of changes during the
third trimester and you are going to bear the brunt of it. Constipation, indigestion, gas, swelling of hands and face, cramps, headaches, and backache are going to disturb your peace of mind at the third trimester pregnancy stage. You will also feel extreme tiredness and shortness of breath.

Ways to Combat Symptoms

Avoid strenuous physical activity completely. Practicing relaxation techniques and taking a balanced diet are the keys to fighting the third trimester pregnancy symptoms. You should practice deep breathing and adopt a positive attitude. It really helps! The happier you are, the more easily you will be able to face this tough pregnancy period.

The Final Preparation

Your baby will change its position so that its head comes out first. You will start experiencing contractions in the final weeks. Breathing techniques help mitigate the pain or increase your tolerance level. Before you go into labor, make a plan of how you would like to be treated at the birth center.
